On March 26, AbleLight celebrated the Grand Opening of our new Day Program location in Fort Collins, Colorado! The Grand Opening was a wonderful opportunity for members of the community to stop by our new location for an open house event.
Attendees were able to tour the facility, meet with AbleLight staff, and learn more about our programs. Thank you to everyone that attended! Enjoy photos from the event below.
AbleLight Day Programs
Our Day Programs ignite the spirit of adventure and foster meaningful connections in the community! Day Programs are an inclusive opportunity for individuals with developmental disabilities to participate in activities such as:
- Daily excursions
- Community life
- Skill development
- Recreational activities
- Employment and volunteer opportunities
- Social activities
- Cultural and educational programming
Our dedicated staff collaborates with the people we support to plan activities designed to meet their personal goals, from enhancing social skills to growing independence. We meet with each person we support to help develop a service plan to ensure that each individual is setting goals, working towards them, and getting the most out of their Day Program experience.
Recently, people we support have been able to participate in:
- Visiting fun locations, such as the zoo, karaoke, laser tag, bumper cars, museums, libraries, parks, and more!
- Staying active with yoga, going for walks, dance classes, and other recreational activities.
- Acquiring important skills with safety classes, cooking classes, money management workshops, music lessons, book club, art activities, and more.
Your key to the community awaits!
Our Day Programs are now enrolling! We have 4 locations in Colorado: Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Englewood, and Grand Junction.
