Beattie joins a mission-based organization to help people with developmental disabilities thrive.
Milwaukee – Thomas Beattie, a seasoned leader, has been named Area Vice President for AbleLight’s Kansas and Missouri operations. In this role, he will have full accountability for operations to help people with developmental disabilities in Missouri and Kansas thrive.
Beattie is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience working with and leading programs that support people through personal challenges and health related needs. Most recently he was Executive Director/CEO for an organization offering assisted living and memory care services and prior to that he held a similar role at an organization offering long term care for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s and other comorbidities.
“Thomas’s experience aligns nicely with AbleLight’s focus to help people with developmental disabilities live full and empowered lives by providing safe and loving housing, education and more. I have no doubt he will make an immediate positive impact with the people we support in Kansas and Missouri and their families,” said Keith Jones, AbleLight President and CEO.

Beattie earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri.
