AbleLight Services
AbleLight provides the following services in Minnesota:
Group Homes (Congregate Living)
AbleLight’s group homes in Minnesota provide welcoming, community-based living for adults with developmental disabilities. With 24/7 support from dedicated direct support professionals, individuals living in these typically four to six person homes build daily living skills, form strong relationships, and experience a sense of belonging, with access to local supports and community-based resources.
Life Sharing (Shared Living)
AbleLight’s Life Sharing in Minnesota offers adults with developmental disabilities a personalized living experience in a family home setting. Through carefully matched placements, individuals live with a dedicated provider who offers daily support, encouragement, and companionship, helping build independence, meaningful routines, and a strong sense of belonging within their communities.
Representative Payee Services
AbleLight’s Representative Payee Services in Minnesota provide dependable financial management for adults with developmental disabilities. By ensuring essential needs are consistently met, individuals experience greater stability while building knowledge and confidence to support long-term independence.
AbleLight Thrift Shop (Minnetonka)
In Minnetonka, AbleLight Thrift Shop offers a welcoming space where community members can shop and give back while supporting meaningful employment for people with developmental disabilities. Through real-world retail experience, individuals build skills and confidence and proceeds from each purchase directly support AbleLight’s programs and services across the community.
