As the new year approaches, we would like to reflect on the amazing year that AbleLight had and share highlights from the 2023 Impact Report. At AbleLight, we believe the world shines brighter when individuals with developmental disabilities can achieve their full potential. We are so grateful for everyone that helped us make a difference for the people we serve this year!
Team AbleLight’s Impact:
We could not have done it without the dedication of our AbleLight Team members. Our care team’s tireless efforts and day-to-day support across our Shared Living, Supported Living, and Congregate Living residential settings contributed immensely to the well-being and growth of the individuals we serve.
During Fiscal Year 2022-2023, we continued to provide quality, caring support across our existing services, all while developing new and innovative ways to support, empower, and create more inclusion for the people we support.
Our care team’s impact is truly immeasurable, here are just a few highlights:
- 914 people were served in residential services and community-based programs, including:
- Congregate Living
- Supported Living
- Shared Living
- Community Connections
- Behavior Supports
- 1.9+ million hours of support were provided to people with developmental disabilities across all programs.

We are eternally grateful for anyone that chose to support AbleLight this year. Your gifts will allow us to continue to provide life-changing services for the people we support. Your generosity means the world to us and the people we serve, and we are excited to share that the total donations for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year was over $6.8 million.
Your kindness allows us to provide a variety of housing options that allow the people we serve to live as independently as possible while maintaining meaningful connections to their community. It also provides other options for independence, such as Supported Living Services and Employment Connections. As a Christian organization, we are proud to offer access to faith resources and participation in the faith community for the people we support. None of these programs and services would be possible without all of you, and we are thankful for everyone who chose to support the AbleLight mission this year!
