Welcoming Brenda Satterfield as Our New Chief Financial Officer

We’re pleased to announce that Brenda Satterfield has joined AbleLight as Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than two decades of financial leadership in the healthcare sector.

Brenda Satterfield: AbleLight's Chief Financial Officer

Brenda’s experience spans senior and operational roles in senior living, adult day services, skilled nursing, home health, hospice, and more. She has served in both nonprofit and for-profit systems, most recently with Birchwood Healthcare Partners and previously with organizations such as Menorah Park, CHI Living Communities, and Kingstone Healthcare.

Brenda said she was drawn to AbleLight by shared passion for serving others. She was especially moved by the deficit of services available to people with developmental disabilities and is excited to be part of the work to close the gap.

She holds an MBA from Walsh University, where she also teaches as an adjunct professor of finance, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Akron.

We are grateful for the expertise, heart, and mission alignment Brenda brings to our work and look forward to all we will accomplish together.
