AbleLight has received a $5,000 grant from The Albertsons Companies Foundation through their People with Disabilities campaign. The grant will help fund AbleLight’s programs supporting people with developmental disabilities in Southern California.
In Southern California, AbleLight provides a range of living options designed to support stability, independence, and choice. These include Group Homes for individuals who benefit from 24-hour support, Supported Living Services (SLS) for those living in their own homes or apartments with individualized assistance, Independent Living Services (ILS) that promote autonomy and community connection, and Representative Payee Services that help ensure financial responsibilities are managed reliably and with dignity.
Support from the foundations helps strengthen these services and ensures AbleLight teams can continue providing consistent, person-focused care. Funding like this plays an important role in supporting daily routines, housing stability, and meaningful community participation for the people in AbleLight’s care across Southern California.
AbleLight is grateful for this partnership and for the support that helps sustain essential services for people with developmental disabilities in Southern California.
