Southern California Community Comes Together for a Picnic at St. John’s

Individuals supported by AbleLight, family members, team members, providers, community members, supporters, and friends recently gathered for a community picnic hosted by St. John’s Lutheran Church in Orange.

The event brought people together from across the Southern California community for an afternoon of good food, conversation, and time spent with one another. It was an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new ones, and enjoy a gathering centered on community and hospitality.

AbleLight is especially grateful to St. John’s Lutheran Church for hosting the picnic and to the church volunteers who helped prepare and serve lunch throughout the event. Their generosity and warm welcome helped create a meaningful experience for everyone who attended.

Gatherings like this reflect the value of community partnerships and the many people who help create opportunities for connection, support, and belonging.
