St. Louis Group Attends Sensory-Friendly Circus Performance

An AbleLight team member and man supported by AbleLight at a sensory-friendly circus

A group of 35 individuals supported and team members from AbleLight recently attended a sensory-friendly circus performance in St. Louis, offering an opportunity to take part in a unique and lively community event. The performance was designed to be welcoming and accessible, allowing attendees to engage in the experience in a way that felt comfortable.

Throughout the show, the group enjoyed a variety of performances in a setting thoughtfully designed to support different needs and comfort levels. Features such as audio descriptions, a social story, and access to a quieter space helped create an environment where individuals could stay engaged and be part of the experience at their own pace.

Outings like this bring new experiences into the day and create opportunities to be part of events within the broader community. AbleLight is grateful for Circus Flora for creating performances that made participation possible and enjoyable for everyone involved.
