AbleLight Golf For Change Classic Raises Over $60,000

Funds to support people with developmental disabilities in Colorado

Denver – AbleLight’s Golf For Change Classic on May 3, was a huge win for people with developmental disabilities. Over $60,000 was raised from the event to provide homes, caregivers and professional services that people with disabilities in Colorado both need and deserve.

The event was held at the beautiful City Park Golf Course in Denver, Colo. Funds raised stay in Colorado to help support the over 350 people who depend on AbleLight to help them grow their independence and live their best life. Government funding alone does not cover their services, and the gap is even greater today given the higher inflationary costs everyone is experiencing.

“We’d like to sincerely thank Merrill Lynch, our presenting sponsor and the other organizations and individuals who came together to support people with developmental disabilities. The financial gap is smaller thanks to your generosity,” said AbleLight President and CEO, Keith Jones. “The event was such a success; we have decided to make the Golf For Change Classic an annual outing here in Colorado.”
