After advancing from area competition earlier this season, three members of AbleLight’s Denver bocce team competed at the Special Olympics Colorado State Bocce Competition last weekend.
Leah and Daven competed in the same division, with Leah earning a third-place finish and Daven placing fourth. Randall also had a strong showing, earning third place in his singles division.
Reaching the state competition was an accomplishment in itself and reflected months of practice, dedication, and teamwork. The event brought together athletes from across Colorado and gave competitors the opportunity to celebrate their hard work while representing the Denver team at the highest level of Special Olympics bocce competition in the state.
AbleLight congratulates Leah, Randall, and Daven on their accomplishments and is proud of the commitment they demonstrated throughout the season.
