Across Kansas, AbleLight homes and programs continue to create opportunities for connection, activity, and shared experiences.
At the Options Day Program, individuals supported recently spent time together participating in activities that encouraged movement and interaction, including games like cornhole. The group also visited a local museum, where they had the opportunity to explore exhibits, experience a new environment, and spent time together outside of the day program.
In AbleLight homes across the area, individuals have also been spending time outdoors through activities like gardening. Caring for plants and tending to shared spaces has provided a steady routine and an opportunity to take pride in their environment while enjoying time outside.
Outings and activities like these create opportunities for connection, participation, and engagement across Kansas programs.
