Ana Recognized with “Employment for All” Award at State Capitol

Celebrating excellence in inclusive employment

Ana celebrated with 2025 Colorado Employment award

AbleLight is proud to celebrate Ana, a participant in our Employment Supports program in Colorado, who was honored with the 2025 Employment for All Award from the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).

This annual award recognizes one standout individual and their support team who have made a meaningful impact in advancing inclusive, long-term employment for people with disabilities. Ana received the award alongside her DVR counselor, her employer at Willow Creek Elementary, and her team at AbleLight for their collaboration and commitment to meaningful, long-term employment.

Ana was honored during Colorado’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) celebration at the State Capitol. The event welcomed over 100 attendees, including Lieutenant Governor Dianne Primavera, State Representative Brianna Titone, and leaders from across the state who are working to build a more inclusive workforce.

Ana’s recognition is a reflection of her dedication, her growth on the job, and the supportive partnerships that helped her thrive. At AbleLight, we are committed to working with local employers and community partners to help more individuals find jobs where they are valued and empowered to succeed.

We congratulate Ana and her entire team on this well-deserved honor.
