AbleLight is proud to welcome David Chalk, Sarah Hill, and Michael Mulkey to our Board of Directors. Each brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to serving others. Their leadership will help guide our mission and strengthen the support we provide to people with developmental disabilities across the country.

David Chalk, MD
David recently retired from Mercy Clinic Rivers, where he served as Clinic President, following a distinguished career as an orthopedic surgeon and healthcare executive. Over more than four decades, he held senior leadership roles at Mercy, including Physician Executive, overseeing clinical operations and strategic growth across multiple hospitals. His experience reflects a strong focus on quality care, collaboration, and positive outcomes for the people and communities he served.
Sarah Hill, Ph.D
Sarah serves as Chief Mission Integration Officer for CommonSpirit Health’s Mountain Region. Her work centers on integrating mission, ethics, and values into organizational leadership and decision-making. With extensive experience in faith-based healthcare, ethics, and formation, Sarah brings a perspective that closely aligns with AbleLight’s Christian foundation and commitment to the whole person support.


Michael Mulkey
Michael is an accomplished healthcare leader with experience guiding organizations through strategic growth, operational transformation, and complex regulatory environments. His background includes executive leadership roles focused on improving access to care, strengthening organizational sustainability, and building effective partnerships that support long-term impact.
We are grateful for the insight, leadership, and dedication David, Sarah, and Michael bring to the AbleLight Board of Directors. Their collective expertise will help guide AbleLight’s work and grow to support more people with developmental disabilities to be loved, secure, and flourishing in their communities.
