Sonal Shukla Named AbleLight State Director in California

 Experienced leader helps people with developmental disabilities thrive. 

 Milwaukee – Sonal Shukla, a seasoned business leader, has been named State Director at AbleLight (formerly Bethesda) for AbleLight’s California operations. In this role, she will have full accountability for operations to help people with developmental disabilities in California thrive. 

Shukla brings with her vast leadership experience from the health care industry, including positions in dialysis, outpatient infusion, home health, and hospital environments. She has held several roles overseeing operations that span across multiple locations and programs. This is a structure like AbleLight’s decentralized approach that uses 24-hour supported residential group homes and supportive living services to help those with developmental disabilities live with independence and dignity. Most recently she worked as Regional Operations Director for IVX Health, where she oversaw day-to-day operations of regional centers, collaborated on business growth, and encouraged a positive employee and patient-centered culture. She is skilled in leading teams and working with consumers, payers, and providers.

Shukla earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences and Biochemistry and a Master of Business Administration with emphasis on Health Care Management from UCCS College of Business.
