AbleLight was recently recognized on the field at a St. Louis Cardinals game as part of the Pitching In Program, a community initiative in partnership with Window Nation that celebrates organizations that make a difference.
During the pre-game ceremony, a group from AbleLight participated in a special on field “smile and wave” recognition, highlighting the organization’s work to support people with developmental disabilities. The group included Area Vice President Nicole Johnson, three people we support, and two Direct Support Professionals. Together, they stood on the field as a reflection of the relationships and impact at the heart of AbleLight’s mission.
Following the recognition, the group enjoyed the game together, sharing in an evening of connection, celebration, and community.
We are grateful to the St. Louis Cardinals and Window Nation for recognizing AbleLight and for their shared commitment to strengthening communities through partnerships and support.
