AbleLight CEO Keith Jones and Area Vice President Andrea Aldinger were featured on Great Day Colorado in a recent interview highlighting AbleLight’s Colorado camp and the impact it has on the individuals we support.
During the segment, they shared how the camp creates opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to take part in new experiences, build relationships, and spend meaningful time in an inclusive outdoor setting. The conversation offered viewers a closer look at how camp supports connection, confidence, and a strong sense of community.
“It’s an opportunity for our campers to be able to experience horseback riding and ziplining and axe throwing. It’s just an incredible time. They get to go hiking. And then on top of that, we have youth groups that come in from across the country, and they partner with our campers, and they get to serve with them for the whole week and be a part of the experience.” – Andrea Aldinger, AbleLight Area Vice President, Colorado
