Little Course, Big Cause Golf Tournament Brings Community Together in Washington

On Thursday, September 3, over 50 participants including sponsors, volunteers, families, and supporters recently gathered at Green Lake Pitch & Putt for AbleLight’s annual Little Course, Big Cause golf tournament. The event brought the community together in support of individuals with developmental disabilities across Washington.

Throughout the afternoon, participants enjoyed friendly competition, on-course games, raffles, and opportunities to connect with others who share a commitment to creating more inclusive communities. Congratulations to Kristine Emerson’s team for winning this year’s “Par-Fectionist” Award!

This year’s tournament raised over $10,000 to support AbleLight programs and services in Washington, helping people with developmental disabilities build independence, connection, and belonging in their communities.

We are so grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, Green Lake Pitch & Putt, and everyone who participated in this year’s tournament. Their generosity and partnership helped make the event possible and continue to strengthen AbleLight’s impact throughout Washington.
