As we prepare to celebrate National Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week, AbleLight is recognizing outstanding team members across the organization whose dedication, compassion, and encouragement help individuals with developmental disabilities live full and meaningful lives. This year’s Direct Care Professional of the Year received a record number of nominations, reflecting the extraordinary impact Direct Care Professionals make every day.

As DSP Recognition Week approaches, AbleLight celebrates not only this year’s honorees but all Direct Support Professionals whose daily work helps create connection, confidence, opportunity, and belonging for individuals with developmental disabilities.
