Finding purpose through meaningful work 

Nicole’s journey at AbleLight began as a volunteer. Over time, her dedication and growing confidence opened the door to something more. Today, she is a valued employee at an AbleLight Thrift Shop, proud of the work she does and the role she plays on the team.  

At AbleLight Thrift Shop, Nicole contributes to a welcoming environment for shoppers while building skills and independence through her work. Moving from volunteering to paid employment has given her structure, responsibility, and a stronger sense of belonging in her community.
