Jim Rymarcsuk
AbleLight Chairman of the Board
Jim Rymarcsuk is a senior executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in growing technology companies. He is the former Chief Innovation Officer for Honeywell Aerospace, a $15 billion diversified industrial and technology company, and helped launch iRobot, creator of the Roomba and other successful commercial robots. He recently served as a Presential Innovation Fellow at the White House, and as a Distinguished Career Institute Fellow at Stanford University. Earlier in his career, Jim was a strategic management consultant at McKinsey and an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Stanford University, a master’s degree in technology and public policy from MIT, an MBA in finance from Golden Gate University, and is just completed his master’s in theology at Princeton Theological Seminary.

Susan Norris, Ph.D.

Susan Norris, Ph.D., is currently the Chief Executive Officer for Deer Oaks Behavioral Health, Her former positions include Senior Vice President of Business Development for Kepro, Chief Clinical Officer for InfoMC, and President and Chief Executive Officer for MHNet Behavioral Health. She has extensive experience operating and leading care management programs designed for Medicaid and Medicare populations, and deep expertise and passion for serving vulnerable populations. Residing in Heathrow, Florida, Susan holds a doctorate degree in clinical psychology, a master’s degree in clinical, counseling and applied psychology from Troy University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Flagler College.

Randall Odzer

Randall Odzer is the former President of Acuity Eye Group. He was the former Chief Financial Officer of LIBERTY Dental Plan (2021-2023) and Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Insurance Solutions division of Principal Financial Group (2011-2021). Randall is a results-oriented business leader with diverse healthcare and insurance experience as CFO of several organizations, including: OptumHealth Care Solutions, United Behavioral Health and Cigna Behavioral Health. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Maura Stevenson, Ph.D.

Maura Stevenson, Ph.D., is the Chief Human Resources Officer at MedVet, a role she has held since 2017. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Talent Management at Wendy’s and the Vice President, Partner Resources (HR) at Starbucks. Maura’s expertise in psychology and statistics has helped her excel as a human resources leader and business executive with proven success in creating an exceptional employee experience to support business growth. Making her home in Columbus, Ohio, Maura has both a doctorate and a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from The Ohio State University, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Amherst College, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude.

Amanda R. Brown

Amanda R. Brown is a seasoned healthcare executive with nearly 20 years of experience managing operations and compliance within the healthcare industry. Currently the vice president of revenue integrity at CoventBridge Group in Jacksonville, Florida. Brown is recognized for her leadership in driving organizational-wide transformation and implementing industry-leading compliance programs. Her career includes executive roles at ATTAC Consulting Group, Nebraska Total Care, and New Directions Behavioral Health (now Lucet), where she developed and led teams in achieving operational excellence. Brown holds an MBA from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University. She resides in Kansas City, Missouri.

Karen Carter is the former Volunteer Coordinator at Riverfront, Inc. and the Chippewa Valley Museum. Her career has included Lutheran Camp Counselor, Children’s Librarian, Director and Teacher in private and Lutheran early childhood settings. She has served on numerous church and civic boards and committees. She currently is the President of the Bethesda Auxiliary Governing Board. Thor Misko is Vice President of Project Development and Minority Owner-Selzer Ornst Construction Company, and previously served with the Kern Family Foundation, where he shepherded their entrepreneurial engineering program efforts to transform engineering at universities throughout the country. Prior to the Kern Family Foundation, he was an executive with Project Lead The Way, the nation’s largest K-12 STEM education program, a director at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and worked in various entrepreneurial and engineering fields and markets throughout the U.S. Thor earned his bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Timothy M. Vaughn

Timothy M. Vaughn is a seasoned executive with extensive mergers & acquisitions experience. He is the former Executive Vice President of M&A at Bowman Consulting; he led acquisitions that grew the firm from 700 to more than 1,700 employees. Tim founded Acuity Financial Services Group, completing more than 100 M&A transactions for clients who were buying and selling and hundreds of business valuations. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Georgetown University, certifications in business appraisal and M&A advisory, and a Master’s in Natural Resources and Sustainability Studies from Virginia Tech.

John Wiktor is the co-leader of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP’s Private Client Practice. John counsels charities and foundations on the complex world of charitable planning. He works with entities ranging from large public charities to sophisticated private family foundations and simple grant-making organizations, helping them navigate issues related to governance, tax, and the structure of gift agreements. He also partners with donors on estate planning to learn their charitable motivations and helps to ensure their legacies live on after death.
