Give Today

Your gift to AbleLight’s Annual Fund ensures that essential programs for individuals with developmental disabilities are available each and every day. Your generosity supports every part of our mission: empowering individuals to grow, achieve their goals, and flourish in their communities.

Leadership Giving

As a member of the AbleLight Leadership Giving Society (ALGS) you will become our partner in providing essential services to those in AbleLight’s care, creating brighter futures for people with developmental disabilities.

Your generosity and leadership contribution of $1,000 or more annually makes AbleLight’s mission come to life. Together, AbleLight Society members amplify the power of giving that provides security, dignity and hope, ensuring the people we support can access opportunities to help them thrive and succeed.

With a dedicated advancement officer to keep you informed, you will stay up to date on program highlights, organizational updates and examples of how your gifts are making a difference.

“I grew up near to where AbleLight began it all, and have supported the mission for many years. Their nationwide commitment to serving developmentally disabled adults, particularly in reducing institutionalism through individual and shared housing, is able to give those in need a better and happier life.”

“Regardless of any one person’s physical or mental disposition, I believe they deserve the opportunity to live a life they desire.  By being a part of AbleLight’s Lightkeepers giving club, I am expressing my commitment to this belief by being a small part of providing them the opportunities to live a life that is full of opportunities to engage and be a part of their communities

“We have been involved with Ablelight/Bethesda for over 40 years and have seen the excellent loving Christian care they have always provided for people with special needs as well as for our daughter who has profound disabilities. Our monthly gift is a both a way of saying “thank you” as well as an attempt to help them continue to provide the level of care through which so many people have been blessed”

“We support Ablelight because Jesus said to serve the least of these. So all of God’s created are to be looked after by the rest of us. Therefore we do a little to help.”
